LOFT IN SPACE!
Our 1400 sq ft (approx. 130m sq) loft is located on the top floor of a formerly industrial loft building which has been converted to residential apartments in the heart of fashionable Williamsburg.
The loft is very spacious, on a corner and has eight big windows on two sides facing South and West. This allows streams of sunlight to make this apartment very warm and bright and also provides views of the Manhattan skyline and the Empire State Building, not to mention the stunning New York City sunset. There are wood floors and wood posts and beams and brick walls.
The extra large living room is fully furnished with a big couch, reading chair and ottoman and coffee table-- flat screen television and dvd and a stereo with laptop hookup-- there is a queen bed behind a room divider plus two more queen beds and velvet mattresses and pillows that provide additional lounging or sleeping.
The kitchen has a cast concrete counter top and glass tiles and is open to the living area with a dining table and chairs. It is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, double door fridge, microwave, coffee makers and all necessary items to cook meals.
One of the sleeping areas is behind bookshelves for some visual privacy and furnished with a queen size bed, dresser and closet. Linens are provided including goose down comforter and pillows.
The extra large bathroom is in white marble mosaic and equipped with a large glass and marble rainfall shower stall with high windows that allow you to look over Williamsburg rooftops while showering. There is a pedestal sink and lots of mirrors. Towels are provided.

LOFT 2
Our second loft is full of charm and light! There is a sunken living room, high ceilings, old warehouse industrial details, 4 piece luxury bathroom with a vintage claw foot tub plus a glass, rainfall shower, pedestal sink and white marble custom tile. There is a queen sized bed complete with over-stuffed down bedding and also a sofa sitting area with coffee table. On top of this, there is a fully equipped kitchen.
This space sleeps 2-3 people.
Williamsburg is a very desirable area in which artists from around the world have chosen to settle. The apartment is only a block off Bedford avenue (the main strip of cafes and shops) and one short block from the L train which is only one stop from Manhattan (so the East and West Village, SoHo, Chinatown, Lower East Side and Union Square are really close) .
That is the reason why there are many work/live spaces and recording and art studios in the neighborhood. The area is very colorful and is a weekend destination for both native new yorkers and visitors. There are lots of murals on exterior building walls, which reflect the artistic atmosphere and there are many bars, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, wine bars, speciality shops, and night clubs. There are also ample facilities such as supermarkets and laundromats.
McCarren Park is nearby and in the summer there are many outdoor events and concerts. In this park there are children's playgrounds, jogging tracks and tennis courts. Three blocks west there is Waterfront Park, located along the East River, which has nice views of Manhattan.
Transportation: 1 minute to the L train to Bedford Avenue, J/M/Z trains to Marcy Avenue, G/L to Lorimer Street. B62 bus to downtown Brooklyn just out the door too.
